Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 July 2026
These terms govern use of the BMSOps service ("the Service"), provided by PSBMS Limited, a company registered in England and Wales ("we", "us"). By subscribing to or using the Service you agree to them.
1. The Service
BMSOps is an operations platform for building-controls businesses: quoting, planning, work orders, works reports, maintenance, projects, invoicing, purchasing, expenses, bookkeeping and reporting. Every plan includes every module. We aim to keep the Service available continuously, but as a practical small-company service we do not promise uninterrupted availability; planned maintenance is done outside normal UK working hours where possible.
2. Trials and subscriptions
- The live demo is free, anonymous, and resets nightly.
- Paid subscriptions are per user, per month (or per year), at the prices published on bmsops.com, exclusive of VAT. A 30-day trial on your own data is available before first payment.
- There is no minimum term. You may cancel any month; access continues to the end of the paid period. Founding-firm pricing, where offered, remains for as long as the subscription stays active.
3. Your data
- Your company owns its data. Everything your team enters belongs to you.
- You can export your data free of charge at any time, including on the day you leave.
- We keep encrypted backups, including off-site copies. Optional integrations that store backups or sync schedules to your own accounts (Microsoft 365, Google, Dropbox, your NAS) act only under your instruction.
- Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
Use the Service lawfully and only for your business. Don't attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer it, resell access, or upload malicious content. Accounts are for named individuals in your company; keep credentials private and enable two-factor authentication where prompted.
5. Our responsibilities and limits
- We provide the Service with reasonable skill and care, and UK-based support from people who understand BMS work.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including loss of profit or business). Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
- The Service supports your business processes but does not constitute accounting, tax or legal advice.
6. Changes
We improve the Service continuously; features may evolve but we won't materially reduce what your subscription includes without telling you. If we change these terms materially we will give you reasonable notice by email.
7. Ending the agreement
You may cancel at any time as above. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms or don't pay, after reasonable notice. On termination you retain the right to export your data as described in section 3.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
